WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE TIRISANO CONSTRUCTION FUND BURSARY?
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be under 35 years old
- You must have completed Matric
- You must have achieved a minimum APS score of 42 in Matric
- You must be studying full-time, towards a qualification within one of the Construction and Built Environment fields listed above
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% in your tertiary studies
- You must have a total family household income of less than R650 000 per annum
- Preference will be given to students from disadvantaged schools, communities, and rural areas

WHAT DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR THE TIRISANO CONSTRUCTION FUND BURSARY?
Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate
- Mid-year (first semester) results or latest results
- Parents or guardians proof of household income:
- Latest payslips, if employed
- Affidavit if unemployed
- Proof of company ownership, if self-employed
- Parents death certificate, if deceased
- Parents divorce certificate or sworn affidavit, if divorced
