As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development & Partnerships Representative to help us build strategic relationships and identify new commercial opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, creating opportunities, and turning conversations into meaningful business partnerships.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Identify and approach potential partners, advertisers, sponsors, tutors, training providers, and education-related organisations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with prospective partners.
- Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate partnership opportunities and commercial agreements.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular progress updates.
- Work closely with leadership to support the company's growth objectives.
- Represent GoLearn professionally in meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in business development, partnerships, sales, account management, sponsorship acquisition, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in speaking with decision-makers and business owners.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline.
- Professional, organised, and results-oriented approach.
- Experience within education, technology, media, or startup environments will be advantageous.

Compensation
- Monthly Retainer: R3,000 per month during the trial period.
- Performance-Based Commission on successful partnerships and commercial deals.
- Opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
